Graduation

Graduation, a celebration filled with loved ones, friends, and good memories; a time where we get to celebrate the ending of a chapter in life that truly made us who we are and a stepping stone to who we get to be. However , because of the unforeseen circumstances this year has brought us, the class of 2020 will not be able to celebrate in the traditional fashion. But I think we have gotten something much bigger, over the past few months we have gotten to see how much our community truly does care about us. From the signs with our names and pictures on Main street to the little notes of encouragement. In our last fleeting moments of being a Custer County High School senior we have gotten to feel the whole town behind our backs as we step out into the world. So when I get asked what I would like to see at our graduation I always tell people the “ the faces of those who made it all possible. The people we get to share so many inside jokes with, so many memories. “ One last ha-raw to see each other and one last time to make memories with those who I grew up with.
